Is this a food tour?
No guide, no group, no fixed time. FoodTrippr plans your meals and tells you what to order. You go at your own pace.
Which towns are covered?
Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Melaka, with 100 picks each. Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu are coming soon.
How do you choose the spots?
We check hundreds of places in every town and keep only the ones locals go back to. Local favourites in, tourist traps out. Every pick is re-checked monthly, and no restaurant pays to be listed. Why FoodTrippr
Do restaurants pay to be listed?
No, never. If we ever offer pass holders a perk at a restaurant, it will not change where that restaurant appears in your plan.
Can you plan for halal, no pork or no alcohol?
Yes. Turn on Muslim-friendly only, no pork or no alcohol, and your plan follows it. Dietary notes are a guide, not a certification. If halal matters to you, look for the certificate at the restaurant.
Does it work for families, kids and grandparents?
Yes. Add kids in your profile and the plan keeps to places that suit children. Comfort tags such as kid-friendly, air-conditioned, easy for older folks and clean and comfortable move matching places up your plan.
Do I need to download an app?
No. It runs in your phone's browser. On iPhone, tap Share then "Add to Home Screen" and it opens like an app.
Does it work without mobile data?
Your plan stays saved on your phone once loaded. Maps and directions need a signal. A local SIM or eSIM costs a few dollars at the airport.
What does the free plan include?
Plan your whole trip with every town and craving you like. Free shows Day 1 and your top 5 spots in your first town; the rest of your plan is ready to unlock.
How much does it cost?
Free for one town. The City Pass (US$15) covers one town and the Country Pass (US$25) covers two or more, each with 12 months of access and one account for the whole family. Pricing
How do I pay, and can I get a refund?
One payment by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Full refund within 14 days if your trip hasn't started. Refunds
